We’re constantly looking for new opportunities to make our Christmas markets even more attractive, and to offer all our visitors more. Everything is possible, and there’s no end to our imagination. Swarovski has decorated the 15-metre-tall Christmas tree in the main hall of Zurich’s main railway station with over 6000 artistic glass baubles and ornaments. The Christmas tree is one of the attractions of Zurich's Christkindlimarkt and wows visitors of all ages.
Ämmitaler Ruschtig showcases craftsmen and their handiwork at the Lucerne and Zurich Christkindlimarkts, selling their products from the Emmental region. The traditional «Stöckli» is a real crowd-puller.
St. Nicholas and «Schmutzli» traverse the RailCity of Lucerne with their donkey, giving out Lebkuchen to children of all ages. Children talk to “Samichlaus”, the Swiss Father Christmas …

The Christkindlimarkts in Lucerne and Zurich draw more visitors each year, which is why they're of such interest for the media too.
